What is tripvenir?
An iPhone travel map. Tap a region you've been to, pick photos, and your photo fills that region's real outline. Every country you visit also becomes a travel book you can page through.
How is it different from a scratch map?
Like a scratch-off map, it marks where you've been — but instead of scratching off a color, your own photo fills the place. You can fill whole countries or their provinces, states and cities.
Is it free?
You can fill one country for free. For more, buy countries one at a time or get the lifetime pass. It's a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
Where are my photos stored?
On your iPhone by default. Location data is removed from each photo, and you can move or restore everything with a backup file. Only photos you choose for your public profile appear on the web.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet — tripvenir is on iPhone and iPad for now.
